Cookies

The Internet pages use, in part, so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your computer.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser to inform you about cookie settings and only allow cookies in specific cases, to accept cookies in certain cases or to generally exclude them, and to enable automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.

Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. the shopping cart function), are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The website operator has a justified interest in storing cookies for the technically correct and optimized provision of its services. To the extent that other cookies are stored (e.g., cookies for the analysis of your browsing behavior), they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores the information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

This data will not be merged with other data sources.

The basis for the data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which allows the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you have provided us with, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case subsequent questions arise. We do not transmit this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal message by e-mail. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation will not be affected by the revocation.

We will retain the data entered by you in the contact form until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or until the purpose of data storage is no longer valid (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

Information on privacy in the processing of job seeker data

I. Preliminary considerations

Personal data is all information that concerns you as an individual. We process the personal data provided by you in the context of your request and which you have transmitted to us, which as a rule includes personal data:

The controller according to art. 4(7) of the GDPR of the data processing operations carried out in the course of the application procedure is:

L.W. Cretschmar Süd GmbH & Co. KG
Business Center Seestern
Fritz-Vomfelde-Strasse 34
D-40547 Düsseldorf

For all questions relating to data protection, we invite you to contact our data protection officer at any time, whose name and contact details are published at all times on our company’s website.

II. General information on the processing of job seekers’ data

In order for us to involve you in the application process for a specific position, you will need standard and meaningful application documents with which you can inform us about your personal profile and qualifications.

As a matter of principle, we only use your application for the decision on the position you have expressly requested. In the course of the recruitment process, further personal data may be collected for these purposes from you personally, from generally available sources or from former employers and teachers. The legal basis for the data processing is Section 6(1)(2)(b) in conjunction with Section 28 of the GDPR and Section 26(1) of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG). If the application procedure does not lead to your recruitment, we will normally delete and destroy your data as soon as a period of six months has elapsed since the end of the application procedure for the position in question.

However, if you submit an unsolicited application, not intended for a specific position, we may consult your application documents in the context of recruitment decisions for all relevant positions. We make candidate data in automated searches available to our company’s decision-makers so that they can learn about your personal profile and qualifications. Again, the legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(2)(b) in conjunction with Art. 28 GDPR, and Art. 26(1) BDSG. We will periodically delete and destroy your data after a period of six months from the date of receipt of your request, but not before all procedures to which your documents are subject have been completed and a period of six months has elapsed since then.

In order to obtain an overview of the characteristics of our job applicants, we can statistically evaluate the information on incoming applications. To this end, even after deletion of your application documents we may retain anonymous data, which does not allow any inference about your person.

III. Data processing after contracting

If an application leads to an employment, we will include your application in your personal file on the basis of Art. 6(1)(2)(b) GDPR, Art. 26(1) BDSG, in order to inform you about your personal profile and qualifications for the purpose of a successful employment relationship. In this case, we will inform you in a separate privacy policy about the purposes of further processing and the corresponding deletion deadlines.

IV. Rights under data protection laws

Insofar as we process your personal data, you have various rights with regard to data protection vis-à-vis our company. You are entitled to:

We safeguard all your rights free of charge and without delay. If you have any further questions, please contact us directly or our data protection officer using the contact details at the top of this page.
