Back in 2022, we talked about the harrowing situation in Ukraine in our first podcast. Today, in 2026, we look back on four years of war – a time that has profoundly shaped and challenged all of us at CretschmarCargo Süd.

Our connection to Ukraine
Our connection to the region goes far beyond purely business matters:
Partnership & loyalty: Through the System Alliance Europe network, we work closely with partners such as Mainfreight, Hellmann East, Essers and FM. These companies are active on the ground and their tireless efforts under the most difficult conditions deserve our utmost respect.
Humanity as a foundation: our daily thoughts are with our colleagues and friends and their families in Ukraine, who have been experiencing unimaginable suffering for four years now.
Resilience in the crisis: the economic consequences – from volatile energy prices to fragile supply chains in Central Europe – have become part of our everyday working life. However, these challenges have only strengthened our cohesion within Allianz.
