An era is coming to an end at System Alliance Europe – and is also entering the next round. Oliver Rüter is stepping down as CEO. Not because he has grown tired, but because smart systems also thrive on passing on chairs – without taking experience off the table. Oliver wishes Mr. Tassilo Schneider all the best and lots of patience as he takes over responsibility.
The fact that he is now referred to as “Honorary President” is polite – what is more important is that Oliver Rüter remains. As a member of the Supervisory Board and representative of CretschmarCargo, he will continue to help shape the company, provide impetus and use his understanding of network logic, partnership and European logistics policy to make an impact where it matters.
Because one thing is clear: a good network does not need time to think, it needs people who can think it.
