from Oliver Rüter
After more than three years of actively using my private LinkedIn account, where I not only built up my reach but also shared exciting content about our company CretschmarCargo Süd, I suddenly disappeared from the scene.
Off. Over. Lost in space.
Did I make a mistake when managing my personal LinkedIn account? Or what didn’t work properly?
I immediately contacted LinkedIn support to get an explanation or at least help with restoring my account. And because I didn’t know what to do next, I got our agency on board.
But what came back?
Only an automatically generated “Thank you for your message response”, but no active support to solve the problem.
It is sobering to see how lost you are in our world when AI takes over customer service and relegates the customer to a number.
For someone who has used LinkedIn intensively for years, this is not only disappointing – it also shows how easily years of work can be lost online.
I can just imagine if we were to treat our customers like this – what a shame!
Have you ever had a similar experience?
Have you also experienced how difficult it is to get in touch with LinkedIn when something goes wrong?
I share this experience not only to express my disappointment, but also because I hope that LinkedIn will take the criticism seriously and reconsider its treatment of loyal users.
I look forward to your opinions, experiences and tips: What is the best way to deal with a situation like this?
